I like how every team has cool newspaper headlines on their ace and than you got Yakushi with 'hotel food was way too good' lol. Hyped to see the upcoming matches and hopefully see Eijun getting the same shine as Furuya now as ace gets.

its pretty inspirational and great that they finally showed what koshien is after many baseball series lol, very inspiring with all those crowds and media also you can be in headlines, thinking that you wanna experience it yourself, too bad my age is out of league now, this arc is good to show for young uns who love sports also, it will motivate them alot

while this is spring tourney, 32 teams are chosen if they're good then yes they'll be chosen.

winning the fall tourney actually locks them on both meiji jingu and spring tourney that's why yakushi wanted to win no matter what.

How did Rakushi qualify for the spring koshien? I thought for teams from Tokyo only the winner of the fall tournament could qualify

it wasn't "west tokyo" it's just tokyo overall,
i think they based the results of the fall tourney (there are no seeded placement, and east and west got mixed up so teams like seidou vs teito got matched up pretty early in the bracket)

they did a better job during fall tourney
they defeated ichidai 2nd time, almost won fall tourney

spring koshien they choose 32 teams who are best of the best, placing do matter they might have 3 teams on one region or 4 depending if they're actually great. I think tokyo got 2

Why is sawamura always absent in the heartfelt conversation man... its like we never actually hear his concerns or worries for the team. Its like hes just a side character for furuya's growth... he didnt hear about miyuki's injury until later on and didnt hear his team's backstory.. for a "main character" he just dont feel that included..

Damn why this anime's koshien arc just came when im older now, if only this came few years ago, this would be my source of inspiration to continue more in sports, so inspirational, now watching this anime while having a normal work/life now, so sad but i hope they will make this arc longer after this first try
